GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORD

Bayode-Reads-600x601

I would start the week with the World Record breaker, Oh!! Yes, Olubayode Treasures Olawunmi broke the record for the longest read aloud none stop Guinness book of record. He read for 122hours nonstop that is around 5days. Amazing feat I must say, and he is from the Continent (not a country) of Africa and Nigeria my country. Who says we do not have amazing talent in this country. I am so happy he did it. Congratulations Olubayode the whole nation is proud of you, and you are our personality of week. Take a bow son, you just made a whole continent proud #wakandaforever  I am sorry I couldn’t help myself lol.

The Panther Cashing Out Wakanda style

Speaking of Black Panther, it just made it is closing in on the 800Million dollar mark, amazing. I know I cannot get enough of it.  If it gets past Batman v Superman ($873m in 2016) Spider-Man 3 ($890m in 2007) by Sunday, it’ll end the third weekend as the seventh-biggest superhero movie ever behind only The Dark Knight ($1 billion in 2008), The Dark Knight Rises ($1.1b in 2012), Captain America: Civil War ($1.1b in 2016), Iron Man 3 ($1.2b in 2013), Avengers: Age of Ultron ($1.4b in 2015) and The Avengers ($1.5b in 2012).

Chadwick Boseman is absolutely on his way to becoming Earth’s mightiest hero. Enough of you Black Panther let me go to another news before people start grumbling lol.

Over to a sad News in the world of football.

Astori

We move over to Italy to be precise where the Fiorentina captain, Davide Astori aged 31 died in his sleep. This is a reminder these players are humans also. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family of this athlete.

Dapchi Kidnap.

We are not going to forget the girls that were kidnapped in Yobe state, Dapchi precisely. We will keep talking about it and hoping the authorities given the charge to secure lives would not politicize this but take actions. They are humans like us, humans!!! They need help, and this could happen to any of us. May the Lord help us all. Amen!

Chelsea but why, Conte why? They were hopeless and helpless. They came and just wanted it over with. I have not seen a team so disinterested playing all 90minutes with no shot on target. The believe was Mourinho was the specialist in parking the bus but Conte took it to a whole new level. Manchester city deservedly won the match that was not a contest sadly.

Yes, I promised to write the review of Black Panther last week. I did not forget but the popular demand was for me to wait a while longer. I have listened due to much pressure. But it would not pass this week. Oh yes go and watch it or I intend to spoil it lol.

OSCAR AWARDS

Oscar 90.jpg

The 90th Academy Awards were held Sunday. There was nothing so spetacular about the event to be honest but some Movies made the awards for which it was well deserved. Animation movie CoCo was one of them while Durkirk did not dissappoint. The surprise movie though that stole the night was The shape of water, How they select this things sometimes though I don’t get it atimes. You should go watch Coco though if you are a cartoon lover like me or you have kids. It is a last year movie but worth it, if you have not watched it. For this I will do a review.
