Here is the News… and I am excited …
Why am I excited, City got beat finally Lmao!!! 22 matches unbeaten in the premiership came to an end, and we can all breath again. I know it is pure beef but I cannot help it and I know I am not alone in this, there are many who were rooting for Liverpool in this match just like I was and they did not disappoint at Anfield. Salah, Chamberlain, Mane and Firmino where on the score sheet though Liverpool conceded three from Manchester city players Sane, Bernardo Silva and Gundogan but it was not enough to deny Liverpool the win, which was pleasing to the eyes. The first defeat of the season for City in the league. My take if Liverpool do not do something about their defence and goalkeeping department they would always be a “nearly team”. I also learnt City are beatable, Hurray!!!!
Now to more serious news….
NYSC Orientation Camp back
Yes it is that time for our graduates to go and serve their nation, this is a special shout out to everyone going to a part of Nigeria probably unknown to you. Don’t fret though the nation seems to be on high tension, God will see y’all through. But here is my advice for everyone going to serve.
- Learn as much as you can about where you are going to serve before you get there, and when you do get there, learn as much as you can from the locals. The dos and don’ts of the area.
- Keep a low profile, you do not need to bring unnecessary attention to yourself.
- Always have your ear to the ground, and be ready to move at each point (survival instinct)
- Be nice to those around you. It surely helps.
- Remember it is for a short time, you left loved ones, family and friends back home, don’t lose your head and do something you would regret for the rest of your life.
Youths obey the Clarion call. Lol. May the force be with you all.
BUHARI AND HIS PRIORITIES
So after the dastardly act against the people of Benue and the over 70 deaths that occurred during the beginning of the year. The least we expected was the President that “belonged to everybody” to actually show that unfortunately we saw the president that “belonged to Nobody” showing his face, or was it our president that belonged to a selected few? On the day of the burial instead of the president to tweet about the horrible killings, he choose that particular time to greet the person that made the greeting card for his birthday, whoa!!! Way to go Buhari perfect timing, 2019 is not far anymore. This is also a warning to every Nigerian to vote wisely and not sentiment. We need to do right by Nigeria. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family still in grieving, may the Lord comfort your hearts.
Registered Parties for the upcoming Election 2019.
Recently some parties were announced by INEC having registered and one of the party caught my eyes and that was the Modern Democratic Party (MDP). According to reports it seems like the truly first youth-led political party led by Bukunyi Olateru-Olagbegi. He is 27 and the CEO of FBSS Nigeria Limited. I am convinced this is the way to go and happy someone as set the pace. Let us put our weight behind this young visionary. He is young and he is walking the talk.
The Soundcity MVP awards…
Nigerian awards are beginning to come of age and are doing things right also, from doing their shows in December which coincided with when Artist where the most busiest hence preventing them from attending and making it a whole waste, to bringing it forward to the first quarter of the following year. The organisation also keeps getting better and the Soundcity MVP awards was good, I will rate it a 7 out of a 10, Davido deservedly stole the show picking up three awards, Ebuka was the host and MI thrilled us to some old hits of his.
